EuSANH Activities

EuSANH focuses on
1. European exchange of information (national reports),
2. Coordination of work programmes
3. Mutual consultation of national experts
4. Joint work on the preparation of European science advisory reports on health.

 1. European exchange of information: relevant national scientific advisory reports from members
An important goal of EuSANH is to share information amongst the member organisations. At this moment, however, the access to many national reports is limited because not all reports (and summaries) are in English. Therefore, as a first step, information on national science advisory reports (SAR) with international relevance from each member has been obtained and translated into English.

Click here for a number of relevant advisory reports of the EuSANH members (more reports can be found in English and in the national language, at the members-only site). This will increase the access to relevant national reports. Moreover, a prioritization will be made and possibilities for financing the translation of these reports will be explored.

2. Coordination of national work programmes
An annual overview of the work programmes have been compared and collaborations for 2012 have been suggested.

3. Mutual consultation of national experts
A major benefit of collaboration is that members have access to experts from across Europe.

4. Joint work on the preparation of European science advisory reports on health
EuSANH encourages joint work on the preparation of European science advisory reports. As a first test case, EuSANH conducted a case study on cancer screening programmes.
